MNDF has stated that the department was providing all the assistance to the Police in their investigation into the IED, dynamite that was found on Monday.
MNDF said that the devices found was extremely lethal and would have damaged many if it had detonated.
Previously, a nail bomb was detonated in Sultan Park, which was aimed at a certain group. However, the dynamite that was found was aimed at a larger group of people. President’s speech on the Victory Day stated that this act will be punished. He also noted that the attempt was an aim to destabilize the nation, part of the political infighting.
