The visiting EU delegation has met senior officials at Jumhooree Party.
Jumhooree Party Secretary General Ahmed Sameer said that the meeting was a one hour meeting held from 9 am onwards on Monday. He added that discussions had centered on current political situation in the country.
The delegation had met JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim and PG Group Deputy Leader and Kimbidhoo Constituency MP Abdullah Riyaz.
The EU delegation was comprised of Jean Lambert, MEP, Richard Howit, members appointed by EU to Sri Lanka and the Maldives and the EU representative in the Maldives Lina Chiaravelli.
