Former President Nasheed have said that he has not filed a case against PSM for defaming him. He said this after some rumors started spreading saying that Nasheed filed a case against PSM online news for defaming him.
Nashed tweeted today saying that he has not filed any such case because it goes against his personal beliefs.
However police have confirmed that a case has been filed at the police on behalf of Nasheed. As per the new anti-defamation law those convicted of defamation can be fined up to 2 million Rufiyaa.
