Ahmed Maazin death trial cancelled for attaining further research on the case

Today’s court hearing on the case of Ahmed Maazin’s death on 2nd August 2014 at Henveiru Adi Park has been cancelled.
According to a media official of Criminal Court، the case was dismissed today on accounts of acquiring further research and background on the case.
The state has made allegations of terrorism charges on 4 individuals who are suspected to be attached to Maazin’s demise. Among the 4 suspects arrested includes 3 individuals aged 19 and one individual aged 22.
Post assault Maazin was taken into ADK hospital for immediate medical attention after which he was transferred to IGMH for further medical care. He departed around 23:05hrs while he was attended with medical care. Maazin received stab wounds on 10 different places on his body، and he received a serious injury on his back due to deep stabbing.
Apart from Maazin، his younger brother had sustained injury during the altercation.
Police had further confirmed that Ahmed Maazin is not related or belong to any of the gangs operating in Male’.
