Shaheem responds to Adhaalath Party leader

Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed indirectly responded to the leader of Adhaalath Party، Seikh Imran Abdulla، regarding his article on Haveeru Online.
Though no names were stated، Minister Shaheem on a tweet indirectly responded to Imran saying that instead of forgetting the past، we should learn lessons from it. Minister further said Adhaalath Party should not plunge into a radical storm.
Sheikh Imran stated on Haveeru Online article “Solving distresses in the past” saying the case of President Nasheed detaining Criminal Court chief justice Abdulla Mohamed (Abdulla Gaazee) should be ‘fixed’ outside the court.
“We should find a solution out of judicial boundaries for the unlawful acts which follows due to the divisions created amongst the citizens”، Sheikh Imran said on the article.
Minister Shaheem posted another tweet today that Adhaalath Party can directly approach to the Government regarding any issues within the Government.
He further requested the scholars and clerics in Adhaalath Party to ‘put forth ethical and sensible approaches to uphold the pillars of peace and justice’.
