Ex-Minister Nazim brought to IGMH for medical examination

Former Defense Minister Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim، who had been prosecuted and convicted of possessing dangerous weapons، was brought to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) to do medical tests.
Though no further information was disclosed، Maldives Correctional Services brought Nazim to IGMH this morning for the tests.
Nazim was previously brought to IGMH and EyeCare for consultations on several occasions. He was also consulted at ADK Hospital for dental care.
Nazim was transported to Malé earlier back in 23rd June for a similar appointment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH)، and he had been brought to Eye Care optical once again for consultation on his eyes.
Nazim’s family has requested to send Nazim abroad to receive treatment for his eyes، in the fear that he may lose his eyesight if proper treatment is not received at the arliest.
 
Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim was sentenced to jail for a term of 11 years، back in 27th March for being found guilty of the prosecuted charges of carrying illegal firearms.
