Though the Government has declared next week as public holidays for Eid-al-Adha، the central bank Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) will be opened on Tuesday to provide its banking services to the public.
In a statement issued، MMA said money transaction will be opened from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm and the reception will be opened from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm on Tuesday، 22nd September.
The regulations of MMA states that no banking services should be closed for more than five days.
Bank of Maldives (BML) and Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) will provide its banking services on Tuesday.
