The ministry said the initiative reflects its commitment to increasing religious awareness and providing accessible religious education throughout the country.
In addition, 15 mosques are scheduled to open before Ramadan, including new mosques in Male' and Hulhumale' Phase II. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu said construction of additional permanent mosques in Hulhumale' Phase II will begin in December to address the shortage of prayer spaces in the area.
The President emphasized that the government’s goal is to promote Islamic guidance, unity, and culture in every corner of the nation.
