The 17-year-old girl who was reported missing in Male’ City on Sunday has been found.
Addu City Feydhoo, Aminath Zara Riyaz went missing on July 10th and her family reported to police and asked public assistance in searching for her.
Zara’s family informed that she went missing around 2:30 on the day and was wearing black dress with blue jeans, when she left home.
According to media reports, she went out to her friends’ house and was in contact with her parents on Viber a popular instant messaging app, till 9 pm that night. After which she informed her mother she was going to another friends’ home. But after Zara’s mother called her friends’ mother, she was informed that Zara did not come to that house.
Police confirmed that they found Zara on Tuesday evening and she was in good health. Police was investigating the case further.
Media reports that when Zara was found by Police, a source inside police says she has changed her appearance, however it was still unclear the reason for the incident.
