Nasheed’s brother signs disputed document as his guarantor

Home Minister Umar Naseer has tweeted that imprisoned former Maldivian president Mohamed Nasheed’s brother Ibrahim Nashid has signed the disputed document making him the guarantor that Nasheed will return to Maldives after he is allowed to travel to UK for surgery.

Umar, in his tweet, posted photographs taken of the documents.
He also sent out another tweet saying that it was part of regular procedure when a prisoner is allowed to travel out of the country for someone from his or family to act as a guarantor. And posted pictures of such documents signed by family members of other inmates allowed to travel abroad.Same procedure applied to prisoners by PNasheed's government.
