Maldives Ministry of Transport has permitted all land-cargo trips across Sinamale’ Bridge until schools reopen.
The ministry in an announcement on Sunday, confirmed all categories of land-bound cargo vehicles have been granted to carry cargo across Sinamale’ Bridge for a 24 hour basis.
Ministry of Transport permits such logistical trips with a 24-hour window of operating window at every academic year end.
Earlier, in July 2019 Maldives government imposed restrictions on land-bound cargo trips at specific hours, while utilization of Sinamale’ Bridge for such transports were permitted after 18:00hrs.
