HA. Molhadhoo Young Blood has secured the championship of the “Hahethi Youth Futsal Challenge 2025” (U-21) after winning an intense final match. The tournament was organized by the Hahethi Association of HA. Hoarafushi.
In the final match, Young Blood faced Hoarafushi 22 Sports. Following a competitive display, Young Blood emerged victorious with a 6-3 scoreline. With this win, Young Blood lifted the trophy having maintained a perfect record, winning every match they played in the tournament.
Notably, this marks the first time a team from Molhadhoo has won such a major tournament held outside their home island.
The Man of the Match in the final was Young Blood’s jersey number 21, Mohamed Zayan.
The “King of the Tournament” title was awarded to Mohamed Zayan Ahmed Waheed (Jersey No. 21) of Young Blood. The team’s coach, Mohamed Adam, was also named the Best Coach of the tournament.

The tournament’s top scorer was Young Blood’s Mohamed Zayan (Jersey No. 21). The Most Promising Player award went to Yoosuf Anal Hassan (Jersey No. 66) of 22 Sports.
The Best Supporters award was won by the fans of Young Blood.
A total of six teams from four different islands competed in the tournament. The champion team was awarded a cash prize of MVR 10,000.
Last year’s champions, Ihavandhoo NVK, were knocked out of this year’s competition. The team had to exit the tournament due to failure to attend their matches.
The tournament was played in a format where teams were divided into two groups. Group A consisted of Young Blood, 22 SC, and Baarala SC. Group B included Team Hiyaa, FC Frigate, and NVK.
