Four people have been injured in a crash between a speedboat and a boat near Male’ on Friday.
Sun has learned that the accident took place in K. Funadhoo at approximately 19:19pm on Friday evening.
The four people injured in the incident include three Maldivians and an expatriate. One of the Maldivians injured in the incident is reportedly being treated at ADK hospital for their injuries.
The details of the injuries sustained by the four individuals remain unclear at the moment.
Two separate maritime incidents were recorded during the first week of this month. On the fourth, two speedboats collided, damaging both vessels. However, no injuries were reported in the incident.
