Bank of Maldives (BML) has acknowledged and awarded its best performing employees at their Annual Staff Awards.
The national bank held its staff awarding event on Friday evening, October 14 at Social Center, Maafannu.
Winners of BML's Annual Staff Awards include;
- Hassan Agleem (North Cluster Manager) - Employee of the Year
- Mohamed Ashraf (Head of People Development) - Employee of the Year
- Fathimath Faarihath Waheed (Head of Cards and Payment Governance) - Outstanding Achievement
- Abdulla Sobah (Senior Manager, Premium Banking) - Outstanding Achievement
- BML Mobile App Team - Outstanding Achievement
- Mohamed Saeed (Public Relations Manager) - Best Leader
- Ali Zaid Mohamed (Compliance Manager) - Best Manager
Moreover, awards for staff and teams who excelled over the past year were also presented with awards in various categories, which included;
- Best Atoll Branch
- Best Team
- Best Atoll Employee
- Customer Service Star
- Award for Innovation
Employees with outstanding performances, received their awards from BML in-charge and acting MD Aishath Noordeen, directors of the board and other members of the executive committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Noordeen said, "I congratulate all the winners tonight and express my deep appreciation to all our staff for their immense contribution and commitment. As we look forward to celebrating our 40th anniversary next month, it is wonderful to recognize and appreciate our staff who are behind the bank's growth and success over the years."
According to BML, the Staff Awards represents one of the components of the bank's focused human resources strategies.
Earlier, the bank achieved the prestigious "Asia's Best Employer Brand Award" for the fourth consecutive year.
