Tourism Minister Zameer have said that, there will be legal complications if PPM finances in the upcoming local elections without holding PPM council meetings first.
He said that while stressing on the importance of holding PPM council meetings. All the members who spoke at the press conference held today, noted that council meetings of the party are not being held regularly and it is becoming a huge challenge to operate the party now.
All the members requested President Maumoon to hold PPM council meetings as soon as possible.
PPM council member Mohammed Hussain Shareef said that the SG position of the party is still vacant after Hussain Tholaal resigned in July. He said that the party should appoint an SG as soon as the seat is vacant.
