Hulhumalé Hospital have reported to Police regarding a molestation case of a five year old minor as the doctors at the Hospital suspected her being a victim.
Reportedly the minor was taken to the hospital on January 4th after she injured herself from falling from a bed. However، the doctor who examined her suspected that she was sexually abused.
The doctor who examined the minor reported the girl received injuries to her privates not from a fall، but allegedly from a sexual abuse. The medical report of the minor has been submitted to the Police last week.
“The doctor suspected the injuries were from a sexual abuse. The signs of the injuries to her privates does not indicate that of a fall from the bed، as told by her family” Hulhumalé Hospital Official، Ahmed Shakir told Vaguthu.
Ahmed Shakir has confirmed the case has been reported to Police، along with the medial report. However، no details of the case was disclosed by Police.
