Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Dunya Maumoon has returned to Male' on Aug 31st following the conclusion of her visit to Japan to attend the World Assembly for Women 2015.
During her visit, Minister Dunya delivered a statement on ‘Girls Education’ at the High Level Roundtable of the Assembly.
At the sidelines of the Assembly, Minister Dunya paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Abe and also met with Mr. Fumio Kishida,
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan and other bilateral partners in Japan. Minister also attended a reception hosted by the Embassy of Maldives in Japan to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Independence of the Maldives.
