On her trip to H.A. Atoll to observe the conditions of local schools، Education Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham has visited Utheemu Ganduvaru in H.A. Utheemu.
Utheemu Ganduvaru is the historic residence of Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaanu who freed Maldives from the slavery of Portuguese. Utheemu Ganduvaru is looked after by Department of Heritage now. Heritage is a department run under Education Ministry.
On her trip to Utheemu، Minister has visited Utheemu School and met with the senior management، school board، PTA and island council and cleared about the conditions of the school. Minister also shared information about the education policies of this government.
On the trip which began on Thursday، Education Minister and officials of MOE have visited 15 schools of H.A. Atoll. Education Ministry informs that Minister will return to Malé after concluding her trip today.
