MHPA (former Moloch and Horsberg Public Accountants Pvt Ltd) has been contracted in reviewing and maintaining confidentiality of the award nominations or winners in various categories at the sixth national film awards.
The agreement signing between MHPA and National Center for the Arts (NCA) was held sometime today at the premises of Television Maldives. The agreement was signed by Executive Coordinator of NCA Mr. Abdulla Muaz on behalf of the organization while Managing Partner Mr. Rifaath Jaleel signed the agreement on behalf of MHPA – over the contracting of awards reviewing and maintaining confidentiality.
While speaking at the signing ceremony، Mr. Muaz said that by contracting a third party for reviewing the awards will generate trust from public and film industry individuals towards the legitimacy and authenticity of the nominations.
He also added that the responsibility of reviewing the marking of judges at the 6th National Film Awards as well as proceeding to grand finale of the awarding event is now contracted to MHPA through the signed MoU.
In today’s ceremony MHPA’s Managing Partner Mr. Rifaath Jaleel spoke about the new responsibility stating they will be utilizing international standards and operational procedures in reviewing and maintaining the confidentiality of the nominations for this year’s ceremony.
The National Film Awards ceremony is slated for the 15th of October.
