Former Attorney General Azima Shukoor has left the legal team of former Defence Minister Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim’s case on the confiscation of dangerous weapons from his apartment by the Maldives Police Service.
Azima stated that she dropped the case for personal reasons. The legal team is now joined by Maumoon Hameed with Shaheen Hameed leading the case.
According to Maldives Police Service, they entered the premises of Nazim’s apartment when they got confirmed reports of weapons being stored in the apartment.
Mohamed Nazim said that the weapons confiscated have nothing to do with him or his family.
