A person has been arrested in M. Mulah with narcotics and large number of allegedly stolen coins in possession.
This 23 year old person was arrested in an operation carried out by the police in relation to the robbery of a large number of coins being reported to the island’s police station، around 2.40 pm last Tuesday.
Police informed that when the person and the residence of the person was inspected after arrest، in addition to coins suspected to have been stolen، a rubber packet with drugs، an emptied bottle of alcohol and 2 syringes suspected to have been used for narcotics consumption were found.
The man arrested in this case has been put on a 05 day remand، at a place of Ministry of Home Affairs’s choosing for police investigation when he was presented to M. Mulah Magistrate Court.
M. Mulah Police Station is investigating this case further.
