Former President and leader of opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)، Mohamed Nasheed، who has been sentenced to 13 years in prison on terror charges، has been treated at the ADK Hospital today.
Reports say he was taken to the ADK Hospital at 15:30 this afternoon، and was taken back home after treatment.
Though، it is unclear for what he had received a treatment for.
Ex-President Nasheed was transferred to house arrest upon doctors’ recommendation to provide him a ‘stress-free’ environment.
The prison sentence issued on Nasheed by the Criminal Court، was appealed in High Court last Thursday.
