Visit Maldives is set to open 2026 with an assertive international outreach, unveiling a busy programme of high-profile travel exhibitions aimed at reinforcing the country’s standing as one of the world’s premier holiday destinations.
The first quarter begins in Europe and North America, with appearances at FITUR in Madrid and the Travel and Adventure Show in New York, before shifting focus to South Asia at SATTE in New Delhi—reflecting India’s growing importance as a source market.
Global attention will then turn to ITB Berlin, the travel industry’s largest annual gathering, followed by MITT Moscow, sustaining engagement with Russia and the wider CIS region.
Momentum will carry into the Middle East with the Visit Maldives Week in Arabia roadshow, culminating in the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai in May.
Through this sustained diplomatic and commercial engagement, Visit Maldives aims to deepen trade confidence, drive bookings, and secure long-term value for the tourism sector in 2026.
