Former President Mohamed Nasheed has set up camp at Usfasgandu, and indicated that he will remain there until the Commission of National Inquiry (CNI), established to investigate the change of government, presents its report tomorrow.
Nasheed has been joined at Usfasgandu since this morning by former Chairman of MDP Mariya Ahmed Didi, former President of MDP Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, and other supporters of MDP.
Spokesperson of MDP Imthiyaz Fahmy said that plans are being made on activities to be conducted by MDP at Usfasgandu until tomorrow.
He said that MDP is a peaceful political party, and is trying to save the country from the Police and Military Officers who conducted a coup.
He added that various activities are planned by MDP for today and tonight, in relation to CNI’s report.
