"Become a useful person to the country" – Education Minister

Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Shiham has advised everyone to become a useful person to themselves، their family and to the whole nation.
She made the statement while addressing at the graduation ceremony of Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) held on Monday night at Dharubaaruge. She said the Government has created numerous opportunities for the students.
“We have widened numerous opportunities through a multitude of fields، such as higher education، as well as honing labor and skills. Financial provisions had also been extended to those who wish who start businesses and other works that they wish to invest in. I urge that you make use of these opportunities، and make them worthwhile for the benefit of yourself، your family as well as for the entire country،” Minister said.
Minister Shiham further urged the students to be honest، modest and respectful during their life course and to strengthen the own resolve to achieving goals.
In addition، Minister of Education urged the students to refrain from negative ideologies and to strengthen the family ties and other relationships.
Minister Aishath Shiham gave out the certificates for the graduates.
The ceremony was attended by CHSE top officials، Education Ministry officials، parents، teachers and 380 students who completed their Advance Level learning at CHSE this year.
