Former Deputy Minister at the Foreign Ministry, Ali Hameed has said that holding feasts to the people by taking money from traders is selling the people and enslaving them.
Ali Hameed said that if traders gives out something for charity for the sake of Allah then it will be given personally by them and if they give something to the government to fund a project of the government then it will given in return for a price.
He said that those who are living in poverty among the people are not begging the government for some meat to eat.
“They don’t have enough to even buy their basic needs because of the cost of goods and commodities. They are concerned regarding the electricity bills and water bills,” he said.
He said that the government is mocking the people by holding a feast with goat meat. He said that the people will not get their lost freedom by eating the meats of goats.
