The running of Fisheries Ministry has been temporarily handed over to Minister of Environment and Energy، Thoriq Ibrahim as Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture، Dr. Mohamed Shinee is leaving to aboard on an official trip.
A tweet made by the Environment Ministry today says that until Fisheries Minister، Dr. Mohamed Shinee returns to Maldives، the ministry will be run by Environment Minister، Thoriq Ibrahim.
This is practiced in the Maldives government when one Minister departs abroad or take vacation، or the position is temporarily vacant due to resignation or dismissal.
Housing Minister Dr. Muizzu has also been appointed the interim head of the Islamic Ministry as the Minister of Islamic Affair Dr. Ziyad Baghir has departed on a personal visit abroad.
