Ooredoo is pleased to launch Youth Ambassador Program, a development program that guides the next generation of entrepreneurs and industry leaders in achieving their full potential in a digital world.
The Youth Ambassador Program starts off with a full days training seminar and subsequent assessments,
through which top performers are selected and given the opportunity for a three month long internship program at Ooredoo. At the end of the internship program, the highest performing youth ambassador will receive a scholarship for a Diploma in Business.

We’re excited to kick-start the Youth Ambassador People in the beautiful island of B. Eydhafushi, and look forward to expanding this initiative in islands across the Maldives. We believe that this program is a great opportunity for school leavers, with valuable trainings, hands-on learning, and mentorship on how to succeed in this digital world”.
The first leg of the program was successfully launched in Eydhafushi yesterday, in collaboration with the local council. Speaking at the launch ceremony, the President of Atoll Council Mohamed Adil said: “We are delighted that Ooredoo started off their Youth Ambassador Program in Eydhafushi. I’m confident that our youth will benefit from this beneficial program, and it will help them progress in their careers”.
The program includes a daylong seminar focused on topics such as business communication, sales technique, customer centricity, work ethics and team engagement. Participants are assessed on their learnings, and the top participants are given the opportunity for a three month long internship program at Ooredoo. This hands-on training with the Ooredoo team will expose Youth Ambassadors to a real life business environment, allowing them to grasp the skills needed to thrive as an entrepreneur. The highest performer of the Youth Ambassador Program
will be awarded a business management diploma from Ooredoo.
With focus on providing life enriching opportunities for youth across the Maldives, Ooredoo’s Youth Ambassador Program will be expanded to different parts of the nation.
