Lily International, a leading privately owned importer and distributor of food and beverages in Maldives, declared Thursday that the company will provide its F&B delivery services during the ongoing lockdown in capital Male'.
In a press release, the company popularly known as Lily F&B, noted that the lockdown implemented across the Greater Male' region in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, coincided with the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan this year.
Stating that the procurement and distribution of food supplies is the most essential necessity under the present circumstances, Lily International asserted that the company will continue its deliveries with due diligence.
The company highlighted that it has mobilised several employees, and are currently delivering approximately 100 orders to small businesses and residences on a daily basis.
However, it noted that some businesses sold the supplies at inflated rates, and requested all to refrain from doing so.
Lily International assured that the company will continue to take orders and make deliveries to the best of its capacity and stock.
