The Board of Directors of Bank of Maldives (BML) on Wednesday finalised the decision to propose a total dividend of MVR 129,166,080, at a rate of MVR 24 per share, for the fiscal year of 2018.
BML's proposed dividend for the year represents a nine percent increase compared to the amount paid to shareholders in 2017.
The dividend recommended by the board will be proposed to BML's shareholders for approval during the next Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The final dividend will be payable to all shareholders listed in the Company’s Register on the book closure date, which will be specified in the notice for the next AGM.
