Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has arrived in the Maldives.
He arrived in the Maldives this morning, with his family on a personal visit.
Benet is holidaying in a resort in the Central Maldives. He was warmly welcomed upon arrival at the resort this morning. He was welcomed by senior officials of the resort.
A source from the resort said that the benet arrived with his own security team.
Bennett is a more radical figure than Netanyahu, Israel's previous prime minister. On previous occasions, he has stated that he is against an independent Palestinian state.
