Following the departure of President Yameen to Malaysia on a non-official visit، the sms circulating under his number and name are all hoaxes، said Spokesperson of the President’s Office Ibrahim Muaz Ali.
The claims in the messages circulating under the name of the Spokesperson of the President’s Office says that President Yameen conducted an unofficial visit to Malaysia to ‘treat his son’s addiction to drugs’.
However، on Thursday، Muaz has denied all the allegation، and said that it is a fake message being circulating under his name and mobile number.

President Yameen departed to Malaysia on Wednesday night on an unofficial visit. President’s Office has informed that the visit was for the medical purposes of President’s son، Zeine Abdulla Yameen.
