Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced a two-year partnership with WeRun Maldives to support a corporate relay race aimed at promoting workplace wellness and team-building across the nation.
The agreement will see BML back the organisation and development of the event over the next two years, with the inaugural race scheduled to take place later this year.
The relay is structured as a five-member team challenge, with each participant running one kilometre. It is specifically designed for companies, institutions and organisations operating in the Maldives, combining athletic competition with corporate identity.
BML say the event is intended to provide a platform for businesses to strengthen teamwork while encouraging healthier lifestyles among employees.
The national bank continues to support sports development across the Maldives through national initiatives, strategic partnerships, and programs that promote youth engagement, workplace wellness, and inclusive access to sporting opportunities throughout the country.
