Volleyball camp open to both genders concludes in Kumundhoo

The volleyball camp held in HDh. Kumundhoo, open to both genders, has concluded.
This camp was conducted with the assistance of the Kumundhoo Women’s Development Committee (WDC), the Kumundhoo Council, and the Police.
The camp, which ran from February 1st to 10th, was instructed by Sodiq Moosa, a renowned volleyball player currently serving in the Police Service.
During the closing ceremony, certificates were awarded to the participants who completed the camp. Additionally, a commemorative plaque was presented to the instructor, Sodiq, in recognition of his valuable contribution.
The volleyball camp was open to both males and females over the age of 13 in Kumundhoo.
The Kumundhoo WDC played a significant role in fielding a competitive women’s team for the Thila-Dhekunu Futsal Tournament held late last year. The committee continues to organize various activities aimed at promoting social well-being and the advancement of women in the island.
