According to the President’s Office, President Yameen will also call upon the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak during this visit.
The president is accompanied by ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM)’s deputy leaders, Fonadhoo MP Abdul Raheem Abdulla and Minister of Tourism Moosa Zameer, and PPM’s Secretary General and Nilandhoo MP Abdulla Khaleel.
President Yameen and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim had previously visited Malaysia last May to take part in the PERMATA International Conference under the theme “Children Beyond Tomorrow”. The president had also called upon Prime Minister Najib during that visit.
