Bank of Maldives (BML) on Saturday, 29 August, made announcement of closing down their ATM Center at Henveiru Marine Dream.
The building neighbors the restaurant establishment which burnt down on Friday evening.
Moreover, the BML ATM Center is one of the few vestibules providing withdrawal and depository service of US Dollars.
On the other hand, the bank confirms customers can visit the ATMs at Renaatus Ithaa Mui in Hulhumale’ and Velana International Airport (VIA) US Dollar related withdrawals and depositories.
Earlier, on Friday late evening reports came of a huge fire breaking out from a local restaurant establishing. The building is locally famous as the ‘Jalapeno’ – which was once the establishment’s name.
Authorities further claim they were investigating the reason for the fire.
