Feeali United Youth League has won the STO bashi tournament for the fourth time.
The team won the final match played Tuesday evening, by beating Real Island Team 34 goals to 35 goals. Feeali United Youth League had won the title the previous three years as well.
The STO Home Improvement sponsored tournament was held from the 2nd of this month to the 15th of this month.
Champions earned a prize of MVR 100,000, the runner ups won MVR 50,000 and the third place Hulhumale’ Women’s Sports team won MVR 25,000. The Fair Play Team of the tournament, Ruh’kuri team, won MVR 10,000.
Hulhumale’ Women’s Sports Team’s Fathimath Milna was declared as the “Bashi Queen” of the tournament. She was also the player who had claimed the most foalis in the tournament. Aishath Minna caught the most foalis in the tournament, while Ibthisham Abdul Qadir was the most promising player of the tournament.
