The government has decided to give away 40% of the “Faseyha Madhadhu” loan scheme to women and the youth.
Speaking at the ongoing ceremony to introduce the loan scheme، Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed that the decision to dedicate 40% of the “Faseyha Madhadhu” loan scheme was as per the request of President a Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
A certain amount from this loan scheme has been specialised for tourism، fisheries and transport sectors.
Under this loan scheme، instead of giving cash، the equipment needed to run the business will be bought for the businessmen.
