President of Maldives، Yameen Abdul Gayoom leaves for Pakistan on an official trip.
While President Yameen had departed from Maldives sometime in the morning today، he is expected to meet with his Pakistani counterpart Mamnoon Hussein and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during his visit in Pakistan.
Both leaders will hold bilateral discussions and proceed to lay further ground works in strengthening the friendship between the two nations، with Pakistan and Maldives aiding each other in education، health and sports sector as well as against the continued fight against illegal narcotics، with agreements put forth for signing over the said causes.
The official trip is participated by President Yameen’s wife، Madam Fathimath Ibrahim as well as People’s Majlis Speaker Abdullah Maseeh Mohamed and high-profiled cabinet members as well.
