JP have stated that if they cannot get justice to their Leader Qasim Ibrahim from Maldives, they will take the case to international courts.
Council member of JP, Hassan Zaamir said that they will do the required legal work to free Qasim and file cases at all relevant courts.
Zaamir said that Qasim is not working for his personal gain but he is doing political work to find a better day for Maldivians.
“Even he can stay without caring much about anything going in the country. But he will not stay idle when the people are being oppressed” said Zaamir. In addition, he said that Qasim has been serving the people starting from a long time back and the government wants to stop it no matter how. He also said that the government wants to run all affairs of the country as they want.
