The 22-year-old man stabbed in the head in Hulhumale’ on Thursday night has been transferred to Treetop Hospital.
The victim was first treated at Hulhumale’ Hospital.
The media official of Aasandha Company, which runs Hulhumale’ Hospital, said that he had internal bleeding and was breathing through a ventilator when transferred to Treetop on the request of his family.
The police media officer said they are investigating the incident but have not made any arrests.
The officer added that they did not receive report of anyone being stabbed.
Two case of assault were reported in Hulhumale’ late last month as well.
