A Night Market is under way in Gaafu Alifu Dhaandhoo.
Dhaandhoo Council President Ismail Latheef told Sun Online that the market opened at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, and will continue until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Five shops as well as a businessman from Gaafu Alifu Gemanafushi have set up stalls at the market, said Latheef.
He added that each participant has hired two or three stalls, sized 10x10 feet.
The purpose of the market is to offer a wide range of products at lowered prices to customers as well as to create opportunities for businesses, ahead of Ramadan, said Aslam.
