Abdulla Hameed has been appointed as the new Maldivian ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
President Yameen handed over his letter of appointment to Abdulla Hameed during a special ceremony held at the President’s Office. The Parliament gave the approval for his appointment on April 30th.
He was passed by the unanimous consensus of all 50 members who took part in the meeting.
Hameed is currently the Ambassador at large at the Foreign Ministry, as well as a non-resident ambassador to Kuwait and the UAE.
