Another Maldivian has been killed in the ongoing civil war in Syria.
The death of Abu Yushau on Friday was reported by Bilad Al Sham Media (BASM), which added that he died in action while tending to his injured comrade.
BASM also said that he “accepted his martyrdom with a smile”.
While a handful of Maldivians had left for Syria to take part in its civil war, some of them had died.
Vice-President Ahmed Adeeb recently revealed that about 100 Maldivians are engaged in the Syrian conflict, out of whom five had perished.
