A land transport vehicle license program has been conducted in Haa Alifu Molhadhoo. This program was carried out jointly by the Molhadhoo Council and the Haa Alifu Atoll Council. The main objective of this program is to ensure that the roads of Molhadhoo are safe for pedestrians and drivers, and to work towards ensuring that vehicle operators drive in accordance with laws and regulations. A total of 48 individuals participated in this program, which was conducted for obtaining licenses under the C3 and C4 license categories. It is noted that through this program, participants will be familiarized with land transport laws and regulations before obtaining their licenses, and will be encouraged and empowered to obtain licenses and drive vehicles within the legal framework. It is also worth noting that the Molhadhoo Council is the recipient of the “Thiladhunmathi Award 2025” for the most efficient island council, which is presented by the Haa Alifu Atoll Council as part of the Thiladhunmathi Award.
