The projected state budget of 2016 will be submitted to the People’s Majlis before the end of next week، Minister of Finance and Treasury Mr. Abdulla Jihad said.
Jihad said while all the works of the budget are not completed yet، the works are ongoing at a high pace.
The state budget allocated for 2015 was Rf. 24.3 billion، while the budget for 2014 was Rf. 17.9 billion. Finance Minister has previously said there will be major budget cut downs to ensure the completion of government’s proposed major projects.
