Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer has said that five additional resorts will open next year, while work will start on 20 resorts as well.
Minister Zameer said that the tourism sector is in good condition and that the Government was carefully charting the outcome of the sector. He also said that between 2013 and the next five years, 50 resorts will come into operation.
He added that the Government will double the amount of money and promotional activities towards the sector. Minister Zameer said that the results of the activities will be felt on the sector in the coming years.
