The Minister at the President’s Office، Mohamed Hussain Shareef (Mundhu) has resigned from his position.
Mundhu told Vaguthu that he resigned as he was asked to ‘stay home until further notice’. He said the matter has been notified to President Abdulla Yameen.
He also posted a tweet saying that he has submitted his resignation. “Honour and pleasure to have worked in President Yameen’s Cabinet.”
Mundhu said he was asked to stay home and not to report to work from next Sunday onward until further notice، which lead to him to tend to resignation.
