To strengthen the job sector of the Maldives Minister of Economic Development Fayyaz Ismail has traveled to India. Minister Fayyaz has met with the Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of India Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey during his visit and discussed how the Maldives and India can partner on the skills agenda.
In addition to that, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed for strengthening technical and vocational skilling in the Maldives. followed by signing senior officials from the Maldives had a meeting with the officials of the Skill Development sector in India.
Ambassador from the Maldives to India Aishath Mohamed Didi, Minister Fayyaz and Maldives Fund Management Corporation (MFMC) also met with top hospitality companies in India.
