Health Minister Irthisham Adam has said that IGMH has made significant progress in a short time in the health sector.
She made the statement speaking in the opening ceremony of the India Health Expo 2016 opened last night in Dharubaaruge.
Minister Irthisham said that compared to two years before, IMGH had progressed in many ways since then. She added that the Government had charted the development of IGMH and issues that had faced the health sector in the country. she further said that arrangements had been made by the Government to transport patients under the Aasandha insurance scheme.
Minister Irthisham said that improving the health sector of the country was one of the priority areas the President had focused on during his tenure.
Minister Irthisham thanked the continued assistance provided by India to the health sector, noting that India had provided specialists on many occasions.
